Zou Lei Holds Talks with Felix Mutati, Minister of Technology and Science of Zambia
Zou Lei, Chairman of China Datang, met with visiting Felix Mutati, Minister of Technology and Science of the Republic of Zambia, at the company's headquarters?on Sept. 13. The two sides engaged in in-depth?discussions on enhancing practical cooperation in the energy sector.

It's expected that the two sides will develop concise, efficient and systematically integrated energy solutions through intelligent and digital transformation,?and?jointly?implement the important consensuses?between?the?two heads of state?on the Belt and Road?Initiative?to help optimize Zambia's energy structure and promote win-win cooperation between the two sides, according to Zou.

Zambia hopes to enhance cooperation?with China Datang in fields?such as hydropower, solar energy, and nuclear energy, in a bid to facilitate Zambia's efforts to pursue low-carbon energy transition, thus providing?crucial underpinning?for its economic and social progress, he said.
